As we surrender the space of reason and logic to trained algorithms, the space from where we've been ruling for centuries now,

as we surrender it, and we start asking ourselves new questions,

those questions will deepen our understanding, they will have us digging down,

where our common truths are buried under layers of debris from our reason.

William MacAskill argues in "What We Owe the Future" that we might witness a lock in effect of our value system in the following years; that this generation could play a determinant role in defining what that set of values might be, one that could imperate for many generations to come.
