Many years later, in the early days of the iPad, I would crave for the builder's thrillings and decided to build an iPad app:
Opening up my work to thousands of users was terrifying and exhilarating. Soon, the good reviews started to arrive 🤩, but also the bad ones 😬. Issues in untested scenarios or feature requests started filling my backlog.
Some easy fixes would be satisfying ☺️; some other obscure ones would be unnerving 😩. Some feature requests would be exciting 🧐; others had me screaming 🤬 when very complex and risky rearchitectures where required. Apple would keep updating its iOS so that new adjustments and expectations would need to be taken care of.
I had entered the gardener's life.
