Builders and Gardeners clash in the workplace. Even with a common objective, their differences in mindset makes coexistence troublesome.

Builders are natural up-front 🛠️ designers, willing to leave little to chance down the road.

Gardeners will dispair at all that overthinking and will want to kick off ⚽️ the work asap, so that they can start maneouvering while they go.

Builders will become obsessive about respecting 📍 milestones,

but gardeners will consider milestones a means, not an end, subject, therefore, to constant reconsideration 🧐.

Gardeners will reopen decisions 🔀 often, in light of new data,

but builders will dispair 😫 at the waste of precious time while we could "get what we've already agreed done".
